Calendar Events & Meetings:
"Loose Change Miracle" is an opportunity for "extra-mile giving" where folks are encouraged and invited to bring into the worship service their spare change on the third Sunday of every month. The change received is put into the General Fund for the church's ministries.
Meetings: Tuesday, Feb. 14 = Finance - 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 21 = Trustees - 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 28 = Admin. Council - 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 23 = UM Women
Body & Soul is a special group that Pastor Rebecca that is leading each Thursday,
at First UMC from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and from 5:30-7 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month. There will be a time of exercise followed by a time of prayer and meditation except on the fourth Thursday when the group will cook a special meal together with a discussion on healthy eating. On the fourth Thursday, those attending will be asked to donate $5 for the groceries that will be used in preparing the meal. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Women and men of all ages are invited to join the group.
